History of 432 Hz
Sound healing has been practiced all over the world for thousands of years. From the ancient Greeks, to the Egyptians, the Sumarians, the Upanishads, so many cultures of the world have been working with sound for healing purposes. Without even knowing the science of sound at the time, it proved itself worthy with its effect on people.
Pythagoras, a mathematician and scholar of Ancient Greece discovered the 432 hz frequency. He noticed the effect of different vibrations, relating the numbers and various tones. He essentially found that the frequencies that add to 3, 6, or 9 are the most harmonious with our universe.
That’s because these three numbers are the foundation of energy in relation to vibration and frequency. People even refer to these numbers as numbers that ‘unlock universe secrets.’ The number three specifically happens to be prominent in so many ways in our universe. Think of the ‘holy trinity.’ Even just our own makeup of: mind, body, and soul. Father, Son, Holy Spirit. There are so many more examples where the symbol of three is considered sacred.
432, when using this expression, 4 + 3 + 2 = 9. This frequency in comparison to 440 hz, which adds to 8, can be disruptive to the nervous system. The 432 hz frequency has effects such as: stress relief, calmness in the mind, even increase in focus and concentration. The number 9, that it adds to, is the number of spirituality, connection, and universal love.

Everything in this universe is made of atoms and tiny particles that vibrate to create frequency. That is proven with physics, which is not my expertise, but can be explained through that lens as well. Essentially, frequency is the amount of times the particles vibrate per second.
Sound is frequency we can’t see, but moves in waves and affects our bodies whether we’re aware of it or not. Just like everything else in the universe, bodies also create frequencies.
As our bodies are a part of the Universe and created by the same Creator that made the Earth, certain frequencies can bring the body and mind back to its natural state. It isn’t a coincidence that the heartbeat of the Earth is the same frequency as our alpha theta brainwave: 7.83 Hz. This frequency creates a calm and relaxed mind so that the body can heal and rejuvenate.
When looking into instruments, it’s important to look for them tuned in with the 432 frequency. Not only will you feel a difference, but so will the people experiencing the healing. 440 hz overtime can disrupt our healing process, even in the music we listen to from Spotify.
All of this is to say that external frequencies affect internal frequencies. Energy can influence energy. Sound healing emits frequencies that affect other frequencies.
